PS3 STEAM Mission

Our mission at the PS3 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Committee is to inspire and empower young learners to explore, engage, and excel in STEAM subjects, with a deep understanding of why the arts are integral to this holistic approach. We are dedicated to fostering a love for learning, creativity, and problem-solving, while highlighting the significance of the arts in STEM education. 

 

Our goal is to provide students with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary for their future success in an ever-evolving world, where the arts contribute essential qualities to innovation and exploration.

How Can You Help at the PS3 Science Fair 2024?

Your involvement is key to the success of our fair! Here are the ways you can contribute:

  1. Support Student Projects: Help your student create and present an exciting science project at the fair. Begin the journey by registering here. Additionally, join us for the Makers Workshop on Thursday, April 4th from 3-5 pm in 5th floor cooking lab, where you can contribute your skills and creativity.

  2. Lead a STEAM Project: If your family has a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Math, and you’d like to lead a project, please sign up. Your expertise and enthusiasm can inspire our students!

  3. Showcase Your STEAM Business: If you own a business related to STEAM and are interested in showcasing your work while leading an engaging activity, we’d love to have you on board. Sign up to share your knowledge and experience with our community.

  4. Volunteer at the Fair: Your help is invaluable, even if you prefer not to lead a project. Volunteers play a critical role in ensuring the fair runs smoothly.

  5. Bake Sale Donations: Contribute to our nut-free bake sale! Your delicious, allergy-safe treats will be a hit among attendees. STEM-themed highly encouraged!
