If I live in the zone, am I guaranteed a spot for Kindergarten?

Yes, we are able to take all of our zoned families. You will need to apply through the DOE Kindergarten application process (or go to the Family Welcome Center if you move to NYC after the process has ended).

If I live out of the zone, can I apply for a spot for Kindergarten?

In the past, we have been able to take out-of-zone families. The decision to do so is made on an annual basis based on in-zone demand and demographics.
