1) PAC provides voting info for parents and after months of planning we're pleased to have PTALINK join us to talk about why running for PTA is important! 

2) Relentless follow-up is needed since the school received $200K in funding for the auditorium light and sound upgrade. SubCommittee to form to improve communication and carry-on!

3) Parents, not the school administration, bear the childcare costs that stem from after school hours. Roughly two dozen parents participated in drafting an Afterschool Committee proposal. Please meet & connect with others who are interested in creating this as part of the PTA. As the parent/custodian of your student, you are the party making financially responsible decisions around childcare. You have the right to meet and be heard about costs. As the party that did not make the decision to upend the affordable childcare provider, the PTA members (which are all of us) have the right to participatory actions.

4) New York State does not provide free school food to students. NYC is -- sadly -- still unique in this respect. Our Food Grow Play committee signed up to support Health School Meals for All (HSMFA).
